Caballa en Hojas de Vid

mackrel and vine

Last nights supper. Fresh mackerel (we are 80km from the sea) with a little salt and pepper wrapped in blanched vine leaves from the big grape vine outside and popped on the ‘barby’ for just a few minutes. Delicious!

    Our London Plane Tree now has big enough Vine Leaves on it (plus some grapes) to wrap Cabella in so that is the next recipe to try. Can see you are busy but hope you are making money!! Tried ringing and sent a text but maybe your phone is not working again.
